Guys my Q7 hard starts but usually doesn’t start on the first attempt. Sometime emits white smoke from the exhuast on start up.Im from the Carribean so it can’t be cold weather. I’ve changed starter and I used some fuel additives and still nothing has changed any other suggestions? please help
How long has this been happening and also check your battery. You should check its voltage while switching on the engine (should read over 14V) and while the enigne runs on idle (should read a bit above 12V) and with higher revs (a bit more than idle).

Take your car to a mechanic ASAP. You are most likely driving with a blown head gasket. Doing this is causing damage to your engine.

Good day, KaiDonut. I took my car to the mechanic and it does have blown head gasket. Mechanic said it would cost $1800 to get the cars gasket fixed. I told my mechanic that I cannot afford to have that done and he said I have the choice to use a sealer and he said the best one is Fusion sealer. Is this true. If I forget to respond, assume that the fusion worked for me cause I have a feeling that I will forget to come back haha.

Hi, i am also having white smoke come from my Q7’s tailpipe. I looked online and learned that Fusion should be able to fix our problem. This is cause alot of different sealer companies use water-glass and that stuff cracks off of aluminum engines and thats what my Q7 has. I’m going to order Fusion and update you on how it works on my car.

Fusion hasn’t failed me yet. I’ve ordered their product maybe 10 times and I haven’t had any problems. I see alot of blown head gaskets come into my shop and I always suggest Fusion right off the bat cause nobody wants to pay over a thousand dollars to replace their gasket.

I’d say that you should try to save up enough to replace your gasket. I have had bad luck with sealers in the past but I havent tried fusion.
